- In 1992, I walked (yes, walked) from New York City to Las Vegas. It didn't change the world, but it changed my life. It ended an 11 year long journey in search of peace with myself. Nowadays I live in the Adirondacks of New York where I try to be self-sufficient on my little farm. I passionately refuse to gather material possessions. They are a true distraction of the things that are important in life.
